Regensburg, 19.08.2020 – In recent months digitalisation has been rapidly established in many companies. During the unforeseen crisis those companies which had previously networked their machines and systems were the least affected. In our opinion anyone can become a digitalisation champion – with the right components and a forward-looking team!

The spring of 2020 demonstrated that the importance of remote maintenance and condition monitoring has never been greater.  We at INSYS icom know this because for almost 30 years our core business has been data communication for applications in industry and critical infrastructures. We have been designing and developing routers, services and software in Regensburg since 1992. Many companies from the mechanical engineering sector, operators of energy or water supply networks and other areas of critical infrastructure now need our support more urgently than ever.

Never change a running system – optimisation permitted

With digitalisation solutions for remote maintenance, condition monitoring and predictive maintenance you can turn data into capital and play a pioneering role. Networking your data provides you with faster insights, enabling you to optimise processes, save production costs, extend the life of your machines and develop new business models. This applies not only to new machines. Never change a running system – in line with this principle, with our ‘toolbox’ existing systems can also be upgraded step by step.

In addition to the technological investment, on your journey to the IoT it is necessary to get everyone in the company on board. Your team can only successfully reach its goal if everyone pulls together and digitalisation is implemented in all processes and hierarchies – from C-level to IT admin and management.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint – the motto for our product portfolio

At INSYS icom we aim to keep pace with advancing technologies and even to pioneer these advances ourselves. Our product managers have based their roadmap on the needs of the market. Our development department is therefore already dealing with the topic of LoRa and 5G. We also serve the rapidly developing market in Asia – especially in China. For this purpose, we have recently started offering the China VPN service. A dedicated VPN tunnel ensures data access to installations in the People’s Republic of China. It is our goal to offer customers reliable, secure products that will remain technologically up-to-date in the long term. It’s like running a marathon: in the end quality, endurance and consistency pay off more than a quick sprint.

In it for the long haul – our future

INSYS icom aims to continue to be a driving force behind digitalisation, but at the same time to make the next major step as a mid-sized company. In 2019 we were engaged in a process of change. We repositioned ourselves in order to be more available to our customers. In close cooperation with our distributors as well as our sales and solution partners we consistently pursue our principle of consultative sales. This is because we are convinced that our solutions for remote maintenance, remote control and condition monitoring not only offer our customers decisive added value, but also show companies a sustainable, intelligent path to the future. We achieve this with a strong team behind us, with each member of the team – from the managing director to the caretaker – passionate about data communication!
