Eduard B. Wagner, founder and managing director of INSYS icom, appoints Florian Froschermeier as second managing director. This organisational change, which came into effect on 01.04.2024, marks a step into a new era for the Regensburg-based company, which was previously managed solely by company founder Eduard B. Wagner.
With this decision, the areas of responsibility have been reorganised, with both managing directors sharing the overall responsibility for INSYS icom. As the new Managing Director, Florian Froschermeier will focus on the product and customer areas. Eduard B. Wagner will now concentrate on the commercial areas of quality, finance, purchasing, IT and human resources. Sales will be developed jointly by both managing directors. Froschermeier will focus on digital sales. Wagner, on the other hand, will expand cooperation with customers and partners in the market.
Florian Froschermeier has been working for INSYS icom since 2016. Most recently he was Head of Product Management. Prior to that, he advised customers with special technical requirements as Technical Sales Manager and was involved in the development of IoT solutions as a software engineer. Before joining INSYS icom, he gained several years of experience at AUDI AG, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in the USA and AIRBUS.
For Eduard B. Wagner, the appointment of Florian Froschermeier as Managing Director is a logical step in the further development of his company: “My declared goal for INSYS icom GmbH is to expand our market position and ensure the satisfaction of our customers and users.
