Benefits for the City of Frankfurt
The city of Frankfurt redirects frogs to an artificial pond near a highway exit that the animals do not end up and die in an excavated lake with poisonous substances.
It was necessary for this project to ensure that the pond does not fall dry and threatens the livelihood of the frogs. This should be achieved using a technically solid solution for alarming in case of low water.
Our customer, the company S.A.M.-Tech, has planned an energy self-sufficient station on behalf of the city of Frankfurt. A solar panel provides 12 V power supply. The station captures the current water level and dispatches failure and status messages. Our cellular fault monitor IMON-G100 is used.

The “frog manager” of the Frankfurt municipality will be informed immediately and can take care for a fresh water refill via road tanker. That’s how the frogs remain well cared in the pond permanently and have their protected living environment.
