Regensburg, 29.04.2025 – The LTE450 routers from INSYS icom, manufacturer and expert for industrial data communication, are now part of the first official whitelist* of 450connect, the German LTE450 network operator. This provider approval is a decisive step towards greater operational and investment security in the 450 MHz cellular network through sufficient testing for use in critical infrastructures.
The whitelist* contains devices that have successfully passed 450connect’s extensive testing process. In particular, the interoperability with the LTE450 interface and the fulfilment of technical requirements were tested. The listing of the modular MRX LTE450 router series from INSYS icom confirms the reliability of the products for nationwide, fail-safe and future-proof communication.

This release by 450connect supports the large-scale use of the LTE450 mobile network that is now beginning. At the start of the first published whitelist*, three industrial routers are initially available in addition to voice terminals and smart meter gateways. INSYS icom is represented in the 450connect whitelist with the MRX LTE450. The MRX series is particularly appreciated by customers in critical infrastructures for its flexibility, performance and wide range of features. The modularly expandable industrial routers are available with two, three or five card slots. In addition to LTE450, DSL, fibre, LAN and LTE connection types are also available and can be variably combined.
