At the same time, the platform has been specifically enhanced to meet current and future requirements. It supports the latest mobile communication technologies, industrial routing and VPN functions, as well as flexible deployment options for remote maintenance, monitoring, and edge applications.
Security by Design as the Foundation
A key component of the MOROS.neo is its consistently implemented security concept. Thanks to the hardened 64-bit operating system icom OS, the device offers comprehensive security and networking functions. With this, INSYS icom specifically addresses the growing cybersecurity requirements in critical infrastructures (KRITIS) as well as industrial networks and provides a solution that is prepared for both NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Using the icom Connectivity Suite – VPN (iCS), users can quickly and easily connect the MOROS.neo to a VPN service for remote maintenance and integrate it into a central device management system via icom Router Management (iRM).
