INSYS icom will be presenting a range of new plug-in cards for the MRX modular router series

Regensburg, 07.10.2019At the SPS smart production solutions trade show INSYS icom, the leading producer of industrial data communication and networking, will be presenting a range of new plug-in cards for the MRX modular router series.

The company’s trade fair slogan “Realise IoT with our routers. Future is now”highlights its positioning as an IoT expert. After a change of hall, this year INSYS icom will be welcoming its visitors in
Hall 5, Stand 232..

Flexibly into the future with modular hardware
INSYS icom is presenting no fewer than four new plug-in cards for the MRX modular router series: the MRcards Fiber, Wi-Fi, Multi-I/Os and LTE/serial. This enables fast, cost-effective updates of industrial routers to meet future standards such as fiber optic connections and Wi-Fi. Thanks to the modular design of the routers, the new interfaces can also be implemented during ongoing operation without the need to reprogram the application.

Router and data logger in one
For verification purposes the icom Data Suite software offers a new function: the data logger enables the router to record machine data, save it and send it as a csv file if required. Data logging and the gateway function are covered by a single device, which saves costs. This function is particularly suitable for small applications that do not require a complex IoT cloud connection.

IoT at your fingertips
The IoT QuickStart Kit, which INSYS icom already presented at the Hannover Messe, provides all the necessary components for a quick entry into the world of industrial applications. At the trade fair stand visitors will be able to experience live how an IoT gateway can be put into operation in just a few minutes, and how quickly industrial IoT can become reality for them.

Partner zone for innovative solutions
Together with its partners INSYS icom offers even more modules for integrated IoT solutions. Three companies from the “Excellence in M2M” expert network will therefore be presenting their services in the partner zone at the trade fair stand:

  • CDP Technologies offers a tool for the development and administration of real-time control and monitoring systems.
  • Rhebo stands for anomaly detection and stable data traffic in industrial networks.
  • com2m specialises in the development of integrated IoT cloud solutions.
