Smart energy supply systems link producers, storage, consumers and grid operating resources using the latest data technology to provide a reliable, environmentally-friendly energy supply.
GPRS connection from grid stations to core network
The wireless/ADSL routers in the MoRoS series read the measurement data from grid stations, such as tensions, loads and temperatures. These interfaces are available:
- M-Bus
- RS232
- TCP/IP
- SML
- S0
- Digital inputs (access control).
"Outwards", they are gateways to central network control centres and they transmit the data encrypted via a fixed line network, LWL, xDSL, PLC, VLAN in compliance with IEEE 802.1q, GSM or UMTS.
The devices provide a freely programmable Linux environment (Sandbox), web server, email and SMS client, stateful firewall, VPN (OpenVPN, IPsec) and redundant connections.
You will find technical information and examples of applications in our Application Notes.
Create client-specific programs such as data analysis and protocol converters with our programmable routers.
