Mobile wireless networks cover a huge range of industrial applications. The wireless network requires no additional installation, is always onsite and can be taken live easily and at short notice.
For communications with machines and systems, mobile wireless networks offer broadband data services with data rates of several megabits per second. Upgrading from GPRS to EDGE and from UMTS to HSPA brings not only high data rates but increasingly short response times for online operations.
MoRoS GPRS and MoRoS HSPA usually connect to the Internet via fast data services. Thanks to OpenVPN they can be accessed from the service centre at any time. Mobile wireless is used to communicate both by systems at isolated locations (e.g. pumping stations) and by machines that the manufacturer maintains remotely without using the company's onsite network.
The connection to the wireless network is established in the default manner which the user specifies for their needs, and it is triggered by a digital input, a phone call or SMS. INSYS GPRS Ethernet and INSYS EDGE Ethernet are entry level devices for simple client applications.
