With the logic module LOGO! by Siemens users get a small PLC apt for multiple use, programming and extension. As a complement to the logic module LOGO!, INSYS icom with their „INSYS GSM LOGO!“ offer a high-performance, safe and easy-to-program remote control and fault message system with a wide range of potential applications.
INSYS GSM in its LOGO! version allows direct access to the interface of the logic module LOGO!, and in this way a user-defined control and transmission of actual values and text messages. The data transmission triggering may be depending on process data or time-controlled. In this way extensive data on the status of the logic module may be read out. A remote control of the SIEMENS LOGO! system is possible via the relay outputs of INSYS GSM LOGO!.
The firmware of the GSM data transmission device was developed in coordination with SIEMENS. „INSYS GSM LOGO!“ allows the transmission of a complete process image after an alarm or a request via SMS. The configuration software HSComm enables the user to initiate the data transmission without any intervention in the LOGO! software, since the control of the signal states that the process image is done inside the INSYS GSM device.
