Prevent assaults and build trust

Anyone who has sat in an empty train compartment, or waited at a lonely bus stop late at night, will undoubtedly know that slightly queasy feeling. A small loudspeaker and a surveillance camera are often enough to produce a certain sense of security. Security is a broad and often controversial issue. But it is clear that visual and verbal surveillance systems are needed to improve our security. In this context, surveillance is not the same as control, but simply makes our everyday lives more pleasant.

Video surveillance:

Video surveillance is a great help in improving our everyday security and quality of life. Modern systems, both stationary and mobile, in trains and other vehicles, help quickly detect assaults or accidents and thus help responders to react more quickly. Problems such as traffic jams and bad weather can also be identified, thus enabling a rapid response. When combined with other solutions there are many other potential applications, such as an immediate verbal response, by loudspeaker, to an incident the system has automatically detected.

Emergency information:

Emergency messages delivered visually or verbally via channels such as displays, indicator boards or loudspeakers have a place in a contemporary security infrastructure. Combining such systems in an emergency can help save lives.

Automated detection of situations and objects:

Monitoring persons or objects of interest can, at best, prevent incidents, but at the very least show how they occurred and thus provide a basis for improving the response in similar cases. Where necessary, complex movement profi les can be drawn up which provide investigations with information about the behaviour of individuals and vehicles.
