Modem connection via GPRS

Serial devices can be integrated anywhere using wireless. INSYS GPRS serial processes the necessary protocols and appears, for the application, as a transparent serial connection or a modem connection.

The use data is sent automatically in IP packets via the Internet. Any Internet connection is used as the remote station. The VCom virtual COM port driver is available, free, to unpack the serial data again.

The connection to the remote station is established as specified by the user:

  • By dialup command (ATD)
  • By SMS
  • By callback
  • Automatically, when the computer is started (lease line)
